Review
This book was full of movement—in the best way. From the start, it dropped me into a richly layered world filled with secrets, emotional tension, and the ever-present pull to escape or protect. The pacing kept things fresh, with just the right mix of action, introspection, and intrigue. It balances classic fantasy themes like survival, loyalty, and finding your place in a world that feels like it’s closing in, and I was hooked watching it all unfold.
What I really loved were the character relationships and the way the tension simmered between them. Each interaction felt intentional, building toward a twist I did see coming—but it still felt like a satisfying payoff among a handful of strong possibilities. The storytelling never dragged, and by the end, I was genuinely excited to see where things go next. If you’re into emotionally driven fantasy with strong character dynamics and a steady thread of mystery, this one definitely belongs on your shelf.
