Review
Darian and Thea heat up early in their story, and once that spark catches, it burns hot. Their chemistry is intense, but what really grabbed me was the emotional depth behind it. Darian is clearly torn—he wants to claim Thea as his mate, but he’s also holding back, hoping she grows stronger on her own so she can survive everything she’s facing. It’s not about keeping her at a distance—it’s about wanting her to rise, and that made their connection even more powerful.
I loved the emotional push and pull between them, and how they were constantly fighting for each other, even when they didn’t fully agree. There’s a mutual respect that grounds all the heat, and watching Thea come into her own while Darian works through his protective instincts made for such a satisfying arc. This was another great addition to the Wolves of the Rising Sun series—passionate, heartfelt, and exactly what I was hoping for.etter.
