Finlay and Vero are back at it again, and this time, their latest scheme involves “researching” at a citizen’s police academy. Of course, with these two, things never go as planned—antics spiral out of control, trouble finds them at every turn, and, naturally, someone ends up dead. The mix of chaos, crime, and comedy is as delightful as ever, making for another fast-paced, laugh-out-loud installment in this wildly entertaining series.

I’ve come to love these books as the perfect palate cleanser between heavier reads. They’re light, fun, and packed with just the right amount of mystery to keep things interesting. Finlay and Vero’s dynamic remains unmatched, and I already know I’m going to be sad when their adventures come to an end. Until then, I’ll be soaking up every last bit of mischief they get into!
