Review
Years ago, I read Nora Roberts almost exclusively, then, I stopped. I don't think there was a specific reason, I just did. "Inheritance" is an amazing way to come back.
Nora weaves a magical tale of history, love, intrigue, mystery and love into a cohesive take like no others. From the start of the story, I was hooked, going along with the characters for the ride as the plot unfolds with current events intertwining with memories of the past.
The story - that of a series of deaths to new brides in a magical home will capture you from the start, and the full extent of the tale, how the hauntings will be solved, isn't fully revealed by the end of the book but instead sets the scent for the next two books in the series. I am eager to start the second book in the series and I'm only sad that I don't have the third one ready to go when I'm done.
