Review
Once again, I am left speechless at the end of one of Yarros' books. The character and plot development throughout Iron Flame has been phenomenal. The descriptions of the different scenes, especially the fight scenes are so descriptive I felt there was a movie playing out in my mind. I feel deep connections to so many characters in the books, you really feel you get to know 80 many on a deeper level than just the main cast of characters. With the truths coming out about so many people's pasts, the true secret to the wards, and the need to face the realities of what everyone has done to get to this point, I can only wonder about what is left to come.
Re-read It’s wild how our minds can just tuck away crucial details, isn’t it? I can’t believe it’s only been a year since I read that book, and yet I completely blanked on the *main* twist at the end. Honestly, I’m a little annoyed at myself for forgetting such a big moment—it’s like my brain was trying to block out the emotional impact of the revelation. It’s fascinating how we can be so immersed in something and still have parts of it slip through the cracks over time.
