Vic and Simon are back, and once again they’ve landed right in the middle of chaos—this time tied to an abandoned theme park with a haunting past. The story digs into the trauma and mystery surrounding the park’s closure while weaving in how its history continues to ripple into the present, touching both the restless ghosts and the living members of the Grand Strand community. It’s a perfect blend of eerie atmosphere and small-town connection, keeping you invested from beginning to end.
What I especially enjoy about this series is how it balances emotion with entertainment. The books never feel overly heavy, even though they touch on painful histories and lingering grief. Instead, they manage to stay light, fresh, and engaging, making them the kind of stories you can fly through while still feeling satisfied. This installment was no exception—I found it fun, moving, and thoroughly enjoyable.
