"Passenger Princess" is exactly what I didn't know I was looking for. Jamie is the perfect grumpy sunshine character, both domineering and caring, rigid to a fault yet also flexible when he has a reason to be. I love the juxtaposition of his grumpy behavior, while he falls for a little kitten, and of course, the beauty queen he's charged with watching. I love how the leading female character, Ava, has a strong moral character... even though she may be a little oblivious to the dangers around her. Her love for her friends and those around her shines through the book and is a common theme throughout and is part of what turns her grump into a teddy bear. If Morgan Elizabeth's other works are even close to this one, I may have a new auto-buy author!
