Review
This book has one of the most delightfully wild premises I’ve read in a while. You’re dead, sure, but that doesn’t stop you from being a wildly successful cosmetologist to the stars. Life—or, well, afterlife—is glamorous and thriving… until you find yourself tangled in a murder accusation. The story kicks off with a shocking, can’t-look-away opening that instantly pulled me in, and from that point on, it was an addictive ride.
This book strikes such a fun balance between witty humor, unexpected twists, and just enough mystery to keep you guessing. The characters have that perfect blend of over-the-top charm and real emotional depth, making it easy to root for them (even when they’re in a mess). I went with the audiobook and loved how the narration brought the sass, the sparkle, and the suspense to life—highly recommend experiencing it that way if you can.
