Greif is a strange beast, and while it's true that everyone handles it differently... it's also true that everyone deals with it differently on different ways. It also impacts how we deal with those around us. "The Seven Year Slip" handles many of the aspects of grief in raw and vulnerable ways that I can relate to completely. After the loss of someone she loves with all her heart she has to find a way to move on - happy or not about it. Some days she feels in control and able to handle anything that comes her way, like encountering a strange in her new apartment. Other days she feels like the world is falling apart around her, like when an unexpected package arrives. Most of the time it's a mixture of just making it through the day and hoping someone will lend you their light - like someone who's eyes you dream of painting.

This is a story of love, magic, loss, hope and growth.
