What happens when one serial killer is wanting the approval of another, when the second serial killer thinks the first is dull and unimaginative, sloppy and yet very smart? What happens when the first leaves a girl bound and gagged for the second, and he leaves her to die? What if that girl has an incredible willpower to survive and becomes the obsession of the killer she was meant to be a gift for? Throw them all into the art scene and the result is this book... We see a killer who thought he cared for no one at all finding capacity to care even if he thinks he's only looking out for one of his own possessions. I'm curious to see what happens in the next book... Does Mara join on his killings?
