From the moment I finished book one, I couldn’t wait to dive into book two—and it absolutely delivered! One of the things I love about this series is how it blends romance with clever corporate intrigue. This isn’t your typical family business story; there are hidden agendas, secret plans, and corporate maneuvering that keeps you guessing. The family matriarch set up some sneaky strategies originally for herself, and now they give her granddaughter a secret foothold in the company without the rest of the board knowing. The twist? She tied these plans to marriage requirements for her granddaughter, which feels a bit at odds with her otherwise forward-thinking personality. I’m curious to see if future books reveal a deeper reasoning behind her choices because there has to be more to it!
The tension ramps up in book two as his hidden past and secret identity slowly come to light. She’s starting to see that there’s far more than meets the eye, and the push-and-pull between them keeps every scene electric. Between the sizzling romance, corporate scheming, and unexpected twists, this series keeps delivering everything I love in a story—and then some. I can’t wait to see where the next book takes these characters; it’s thrilling, fun, and full of drama in all the right ways.
