When you think you’re finally figured out where an author is going, and then you realize that you, once again, missed the plot twist... My favorite part about Freida McFadden is how at the end a twist comes out of nowhere... Even when you are LOOKING for the “person you least suspect” you still get caught unawares by the last plot twist/revelation - time and time again.
