Review
While the first two books in the series leaned heavily into the fantasy side of things—with orcs, fae, and all kinds of magical creatures—this third installment takes a thrilling turn. There’s this added paranormal vibe that almost feels like a mystery layered into the fantasy world, especially with everything going on with Tate. It really amps up the dark, almost supernatural energy, and I loved that twist. It made the story feel even more immersive and intense, pulling me deeper into the world than ever before.
What really stuck with me, though, was how each of the three main characters is on such a different personal journey. One’s getting ready to tie the knot, another’s caught in the messy “are we or aren’t we” relationship limbo, and the third is watching her whole world crumble around her. Their paths are diverging in such raw, emotional ways, and I found myself completely invested in each of their stories. I’m beyond excited to see where everything goes next—this series just keeps getting better.
