Review

Laughter, tears, heartache, and personal growth are all incorporated within "Just For the Summer" by Abby Jimenez. I have literally laughed and cried at the same time while experiencing this book.

We meet the main characters, both who appear to have a curse upon them, or a blessing for others, depending on your view. They are both cursed to not find love, but to also be the last person their exes date before finding their soul mates. Due to the reach of social media they have a chance online encounter and decide to help one another out by dating, and breaking up with, one another.

What happens when to people fated to allow their exes to find love date one another? Well, obviously they are going to feel sparks as soon as they meet, if for no other reason than because they are fated to break up. What if they aren't meant to be exes though?

My newfound love for the writing of Abby Jimenez means that I'm about to jump down a rabbit whole I didn't know existed 12 hours ago.
