"Mind Games" creates a vivid world around Thea, in the Appalachian Mountains. We watch as she grows up through the 15 years after her parent's murder, her life, her friends, her family, and most of all, how she fends off the mental intrusions of the cold-blooded killer who took her parents from her. Within this story we experience her grief, her happiness, her sorrow, and her strengths.
Nora Roberts manages to paint a tale full of love, loss, and growth, while still bringing us through the idea of a teenage girl, through the hopes of a successful young woman. Roberts never disappoints with her tales and this one stands true.
