"From the very first chapter, I was completely pulled into the story thanks to the instant chemistry between the two main characters. Their connection felt so genuine—full of vulnerability, humor, and a lot of heart. That first hilarious encounter (thanks to a mis-delivered package of body bags) set the tone for a rollercoaster of emotions, playful banter, and awkward-but-cute moments that had me smiling the whole way through. The author did such a great job of showing how these two helped each other heal in subtle, emotional ways, even as they both tried so hard to pretend they were just friends.

The slow-burn romance, peppered with miscommunications and sweet tension, made this a truly delightful read. It's lighthearted, heartwarming, and full of charm, making it one of those books you want to hug when you're done. Ivy Fairbanks created a cozy, feel-good love story that made me fall in love right alongside the characters. I’m already counting down the days until book two—because I need more of this magic!"

Ivy Fairbanks is such a pleasure! I had the opportunity to meet her at a signing event for another author as they did a Q&A session together and while the questions were mostly asked by Ivy, we also we able to et some insights into her and her writing style. I'm excited I was able to meet Ivy and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
