Review

Never Been Shipped pulled me in with its electric blend of messy emotions, unresolved history, and the chaos that comes from reuniting a band after a dramatic breakup. There's something magnetic about watching old wounds surface and new dynamics form—especially when past heartbreaks are tangled with unspoken feelings and complicated personalities. This story doesn’t shy away from the heavy stuff, either. It dives headfirst into toxic friendships, emotional fallout, and the struggle of loving someone who might not love you back—at least not in the way you hope.

What I really loved, though, was how it all came together in the end. The character growth felt real and earned, and the themes of forgiveness, vulnerability, and finding your people gave the story so much heart. I was cruising at a solid four stars for most of the book, but the final quarter absolutely nailed it for me. The emotional payoff, the arcs resolving in satisfying ways—it pushed the story over the top to a firm five stars. This one’s a great pick if you enjoy second chances, tension-filled reunions, and characters who fight hard for their happy endings.
