Review

"Of Neptune" brings us to the conclusion of the Syrena trilogy with even more secrets being revealed. Galen and Emma's relationship continues to grow and test its strength as they each discover more about one another. After much push and pull with the kings of their respective kingdoms they set off in search rest and exploration and, unbeknownst to Galen, with a secret agenda from the Triton King. They must learn to trust one another, and their own hearts, when they encounter others who share their heritage, and figure out how far they are willing to go to set things right in their kingdoms. Of the three books this was my least favorite as it didn't seem to have the same suspense as the others. There was no great twist or revelation on the horizon and it just, in general, failed to live up to the other two books in the series. I know there are some novellas out there and I will seek them out to complete the series in hope that they are more gripping than this one. Overall, the writing is well done, this third book just felt short of the others.
