Review

I went into this without having read any of the other books in the Never Harbor series, and wow—I’ve seriously been missing out. From the very beginning, I fell in love with the way the main character was portrayed as the town sweetheart. Everyone in the community looks out for her, but what I really enjoyed was how she gently resisted that bubble of protection, showing her strength and independence. It made her feel layered and real, not just the stereotypical “good girl.”

What truly hooked me, though, was the chemistry and emotional growth between her and the male lead. The way their relationship developed—with maturity, tenderness, and just the right amount of tension—was so satisfying to read. The story felt well-paced and beautifully written, and now I’m dying to go back and read the earlier books in the series. If they're anything like this one, I know I’m in for a treat!
