I always get a little spark of excitement when Amazon drops their seasonal holiday shorts, and this one was such a fun way to kick off the festivities. It blends two of my favorite tropes—brother’s best friend and holiday romance—and the author manages to make it both sweet and a little bit spicy. The setup feels cozy and familiar in the best possible way, like slipping into a story you already know you'll enjoy, but with fresh energy and charm.

What really hooked me was how adorable the chemistry was between the characters. Their dynamic had that perfect mix of long-standing connection, flirty tension, and “oh no… this might actually be real” moments that make these kinds of stories so addictive. It’s short, seasonal, fun, and full of the exact vibes I want when the holiday reads start rolling in. Honestly, such a cute addition to this year’s lineup.
