I didn’t have high hopes for this book, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I loved seeing the main character’s growth, going from only having one person she interacted with to building a whole community that genuinely cared about her. The transformation was heartwarming and felt so authentic. But the true unsung hero of the story is definitely Caz, the grumpy, pessimistic spider plant. He always expects the worst in every situation, yet somehow manages to come through when it counts. His snarky commentary added a fun, quirky touch that kept me entertained. I’m not typically drawn to cozy romances, but this one had me hooked right from the start, and I found myself rooting for every character—yes, even the houseplants!
