Just like the rest of the Dream Harbor series, this book completely hit me in the feels in the best way possible. The emotional beats are so well done without being overly heavy, and the characters—ugh, I adored them. We’ve got a grumpy yet charming single dad who just found out he’s a dad (surprise!), and on the other side, we have the town’s absolute sweetheart hired to be his nanny. You can already imagine the tension, the banter, and the slow melt of walls between them.
Watching these two navigate parenthood, unexpected emotions, and growing attraction was so heartwarming. Their chemistry was sweet and sassy in all the right ways, and the small-town charm that runs through the whole Dream Harbor series is still alive and thriving here. It’s light, romantic, a little emotional, and totally binge-worthy. If you’ve been following the series, this one is a must. And if you’re new to it, this is a great place to fall in love with Dream Harbor for the first time.
