Review
This is definitely one of those many times where the book is better than the show/movie. I watched season two of Bridgerton's before I read this book and as I was reading, I was thoroughly confused by just how different the book is! I found the same to be with book one, but it was so much more pronounced in this one. I enjoyed how the characters behaved in the book better than in the show, feeling truer to their character than how they are portrayed on screen. I enjoy seeing how the siblings interact with one another, their brutality (competitiveness) at their games, and how this carries through to the epilogue. Looking forward to finishing the rest of the series before their show seasons are released.
