This book was a tough read for me. I just couldn’t connect with the characters or the story, and I kept hoping that something would change. I pushed through, thinking they'd eventually overcome their challenges, but that didn’t happen. The ending felt flat and anticlimactic, leaving me with no real payoff or reason to keep going. Now, I’m all for books that don’t necessarily have a happy ending, but in this case, the whole journey was about finding that HEA, so the lack of one really left me feeling unsatisfied.
