Review
I needed a few days to process everything after finishing this one—it really hit me hard. From the very first page, I was completely hooked. The emotional turmoil of the main character, her struggles to keep painful truths from her loved ones because she knew they’d never believe her, was so raw and deeply written that I felt it all in my core. Then there’s his determination to question everything he thought he knew, to follow his heart and find her—it kept me glued, needing to see how it would all unfold.
What I loved most was how this story brought a fresh twist to the romantasy genre, blending modern concepts of evil with a fantasy take on why it even exists. It was such a unique perspective. I’m already counting down the days until the next book comes out!
