Review
"Ward D" by Freida McFadden hooks you from the first page and keeps you guessing until the very end. The eerie setting of the psychiatric ward is gave me a slight chill as I read, creating a backdrop for the suspenseful and twisty plot. The main character, Amy, is a relatable character whose journey through the night is filled with emotion, fear, and really some psychosis of her own. Once again, I thought I knew the big twist, but I was partially off the mark and partially right (there's a few intertwined). McFadden's storytelling is top-notch, with unexpected twists and expertly paced suspense. A must-read for thriller fans, "Ward D" is an unforgettable, edge-of-your-seat experience.
