Review
Witness to Murder really takes the concept of being a “witness” and flips it on its head. It explores what happens when you’re the only person who saw a crime — and no one believes you. Imagine agreeing to a date someone set you up on, showing up excited but then waiting…and waiting…until you finally go looking for him. What you find instead is a nightmare: your date, covered in blood, being dragged away. You call the police, desperate for help, but when they arrive, there’s no blood, no body, and not a single piece of evidence. To make matters worse, the man you saw is now missing — and suddenly you’re the prime suspect.
I really enjoyed how this story built its tension through the psychological side of the investigation and the feeling of isolation that comes with being disbelieved. The Colby Agency steps in, and from there, the mystery twists in ways that kept me hooked. The mix of romantic suspense and procedural intrigue was so well balanced — it gave the story both heart and grit. Watching it all unfold kept me engaged from start to finish.
