I actually figured out the “big twist” early on, but that didn’t make the story any less gripping. A murder mystery tangled with corporate intrigue propels the plot at a thrilling pace as the main characters race to uncover the truth behind her parents’ death and a shocking murder accusation. The tension is relentless, and the suspenseful details and character interactions make every chapter engaging.
While the outcome was a bit predictable, the clever plotting and dynamic characters kept me hooked from start to finish. It’s the kind of book that makes a rainy afternoon fly by—you’re turning pages, holding your breath, and eagerly watching the mystery unravel. I’d happily continue this series to see what comes next; overall, it’s a satisfying, suspense-filled read that keeps you guessing just enough.
