This was my first dive into this author’s work, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! From the very first page, I felt completely drawn into the drama unfolding at the vineyard. The characters were incredibly relatable, their struggles and triumphs felt authentic, and the setting added such a rich, immersive backdrop to the story. It struck that perfect balance between humor and heartfelt moments, making me feel like I was right there, experiencing every twist and turn alongside them.

This book truly had it all—laughter, tears, a touch of spice, and a wave of nostalgia that hit just right. The plot was believable yet deeply engaging, keeping me hooked the entire way through. I love when a story makes me feel so many emotions, and this one absolutely delivered. I’m already looking forward to exploring more from this author and seeing what other unforgettable stories they have in store!

Meeting Laura at the Fantasy Panel hosted by Barnes & Noble Colonial Plaza was a great experience. Her humble nature about her writing made her someone I could connect with and learning about her writing process allowed me to see her stories, and her characters, in a new light.
