Review

This book is packed with so many tropes that I just couldn’t resist—hidden heritage, forced marriage, forced proximity, dragons, magic, and even a world without magic. It’s like the author took everything I love about fantasy and mixed it all into one! While some parts did drag a little, and the spice didn’t leave me breathless, I was still hooked by the story. The twists and turns throughout kept me reading, but the absolute highlight for me was the final twist at the end. It was unexpected and really wrapped up the story in such a satisfying way, leaving me with that “wow” feeling.

Even though there were a few slower moments, the overall plot was strong enough to carry me through, and I just couldn’t put it down. I loved how all the different elements came together, creating a world full of magic, intrigue, and unexpected surprises. If you enjoy stories with epic fantasy tropes that feel familiar but still manage to surprise you, this one’s definitely worth checking out. It’s a wild ride with enough heart and drama to make it an enjoyable read.
