Review
Chasing Forever was such a fantastic return to Plain Daisy Ranch, and this time we finally get to dive into the Sheriff’s story. I really enjoyed watching the way the characters’ connections grew—both with each other and with their families. The way they slowly learned to open up and lean on one another felt natural and heartwarming. It was clear to everyone around them where things were headed, but I liked that the journey wasn’t as obvious to her as it was to him—it added a nice layer of tension and sweetness to their relationship.
The accidental marriage was such a fun twist, and while it wasn’t technically a forced proximity romance, it definitely had that same cozy, “stuck together” vibe because of the circumstances they were thrown into. That element kept the story moving in such an entertaining way. I’ve adored every single book in the Plain Daisy Ranch series, and Chasing Forever is absolutely no exception. I can’t wait to see what happens next for the rest of the ranch crew—I’m already looking forward to going back.
