What happens when a confident teen decides she's had enough of watching her mom navigate life solo? She picks up the phone, calls a popular romance radio show, and asks for help in finding her mom a match. Naturally, chaos follows. The story kicks off with a laugh-out-loud scene where Mom overhears her daughter whispering on a late-night call that sounds sketchy—until she realizes it’s not a stranger… it’s a sweet older man… and oh yeah, they’re live on the radio. That opening scene had me instantly hooked!
From there, the town becomes just as invested in Mom’s love life as her daughter is, and the radio show pulls her into the spotlight in the most heartwarming way. This book is such a fun, feel-good read filled with charming characters and small-town shenanigans. It's a super slow burn (like, slow-slow), but it makes the payoff all the sweeter. If you're into sweet romance, meddling teens, and a whole lot of heart, I highly recommend picking this one up.
