Review
This third book in the Midnight Manor series tells the tale of the youngest Voss brother, Nero, in a Cinderella retelling. The story overlaps a smidge with the storyline of the previous books with the prologue happening during the ball from book one and Chapter One picking up at Nero's broken engagement. The overlap would allow someone to pick the book and read it without feeling like they were missing out on too much from the previous books, but reading as a series does provide additional context to the other characters.
Once again, we find a broody Voss brother who needs to find the right woman to bring past his inner demons, and we find ghost of mama Voss is again ready to lend a helping hand in her boys' happiness.
I was pulled into this series from the start and have found P. Rayne and Piper Rayne (dark and light romances) have become auto-buy authors for me. Can't wait for book four!
