Review
I absolutely adored this book—like, I didn’t want to put it down! Fake dating has always been one of my favorite tropes, and this story gave it such a fun and fresh twist that totally pulled me in. The chemistry between the main characters was chef’s kiss, and watching them navigate their emotional baggage and grow toward each other felt both heartfelt and swoon-worthy. Their journey to love was anything but simple, and that made it all the more satisfying.
What really made this book shine, though, was the cast of side characters. Their dynamics added so much warmth and charm to the story that I found myself wanting to jump into their world. It made me wish I’d read book one already—and now it’s definitely going to the top of my TBR. I’m also hooked on this series and excited to read more from this author. I’m so glad our book club picked this one—total win!
