Did you ever wonder what it would be like if Salem from Sabrina the Teenage Witch stepped out of his cat form and revealed himself as a hunky demon? If so, this book might just scratch that itch. It’s got that perfect blend of sultry, swoony romance with a playful, flirty edge that makes it feel lighthearted even while dipping into the supernatural. It’s a fun ride that doesn’t take itself too seriously, which makes it the kind of story you can breeze through with a smile on your face.
I also loved the introduction to Pleasant Grove, a town where witches are the norm and magic hums in the background of everyday life. It’s a whimsical, witchy setting that immediately pulled me in, and the characters fit right into the cozy-spooky vibe. This book sets up such a promising start to the series, and I’m already eager to jump straight into book two to see what other magical mischief and romance unfolds in this enchanting world.
