Take Me If You Dare takes a playful premise and turns it into a flirty, steamy romance I couldn’t put down. Jasmine and her best friend have a long-standing tradition of giving each other dares on their birthdays—silly when they were kids, a little bolder as they grew up. Her ex-boyfriend never understood the fun of it, but now that he’s out of the picture (thankfully), her best friend decides it’s time to revive the tradition. The dare this year? Have a one-night stand while she’s away on a business trip to Miami. Jasmine takes the plunge, and the night is everything you’d hope for—passionate, exciting, unforgettable.
But what should have been just one night doesn’t end there. Jasmine’s business trip gets extended, landing her in another city where, surprise, he also happens to be. That spark between them refuses to burn out, and suddenly their fling turns into weeks of undeniable chemistry, banter, and plenty of heat. Of course, we know we’re heading toward a happily ever after, but the fun is in watching how these two navigate their unexpected connection. This was the exact kind of romance I was in the mood for—sexy, playful, and thoroughly entertaining—and I can’t wait to see what the next birthday dare will bring in book two.
