I have mixed feelings about this one. At times, I found myself bored, then completely invested, only to feel lost later on. It was a bit of a rollercoaster. I usually don’t reread books, but I feel like I need to give this one another go. I think I may have missed some crucial details, especially in the last third, where I went from fully understanding the story to feeling a bit confused. While I grasped the major plot points, I feel like there were deeper connections that went over my head. The story is complex, with many intertwining layers, and I suspect I was distracted during some pivotal moments. A buddy read might help me unpack it better, so I’ll see what my friends think when they read it.
