Review
I tried, I really did, but after 48% in I had zero investment in the characters or the outcome of the story. The writing is done well, with vivid detail, but I had no interest in going on and the idea of picking up the book to keep going just made me tired. I wanted to love it, I really did, but it wasn't for me.
