Review
Although this book is part of a series, it stands well on its own. Annalisa Vegan, now retired from the police force, has started her own PI firm and takes on two cases that let her leverage her detective experience and old connections. A wild ride full of surprises and plot twists, it was a thriller I couldn’t put down.
The characters pulled me in so much that I’m now planning to go back and read the first three books in the series!
