Review
The first time I picked up this book, I honestly found it a bit slow and was mainly focused on figuring out who the “culprit” was. But on my reread, it felt like I was experiencing an entirely different story. I realized I hadn’t remembered much from my first read, which makes me think I just wasn’t in the right headspace at the time. This time around, I found myself thinking, wow, this book is so much more fun than I remembered!
What really stood out to me was the growth of the main characters—both individually and in their relationships with one another. I loved watching her strength shine through, especially how she stood up for herself and others without hesitation. That kind of strong female character energy always makes a story click for me. The way the ending sets up the next two books in the series has me so excited—I can’t wait to dive into book two and see where it all goes next.
