Goal Line is such a fun hockey romance that blends second chances, friends-to-lovers chemistry, and a dash of chaos both on and off the ice. She’s a figure skater, he’s a goalie, and their worlds collide in the most unexpected way—a fake marriage that doesn’t exactly have an expiration date and a pregnancy that they work hard to keep a secret for as long as possible. The setup alone had me grinning, weaving in family drama, emotional baggage, and that slow, believable shift from friendship to something much deeper.
Their personal growth was a huge part of why I loved this book. Both characters had to figure out how to actually talk their truth to each other, and once they did, everything started to click into place. It wasn’t just about their romance—it was about learning how to handle family complications and build stronger, healthier relationships all around. Their journey felt real and heartfelt, making the ending all the more satisfying.
