You know those thrillers that you start reading and you think you know right away what's going on? Well, this is not one of them. I did think I knew what was going on, don't get me wrong, but I quickly changed my mind, and then changed it again and again throughout the book. Throughout the tale we get to know the characters, only to continually realize we don't know nearly as much as we think. No one is who we think they are, and seemingly minor players aren't so minor after all. This is a maze of intertwining pasts, presents, and even futures that you don't see coming.
For fans of Freida McFadden and B.A. Paris, this book might add another auto-buy author to your list!
